Where are you located?
Zachariah’s Acres is located on 48 acres of pristine land in the town of Oconomowoc, WI. Our beautiful property includes open fields, trails through the woods, ponds and rolling hills.
Do you currently offer respite care?
Zachariah’s Acres currently hosts FREE events exclusively for children with special needs, and their families. Parents or caregivers are required to stay on site. Our trained volunteers allow parents to take a walk or enjoy a cup of coffee while their children participate in activities.

What buildings are there?
We are currently in the fundraising stage for the first building, a multi-purpose barn. Zachariah’s Acres has several structures on site including: a prayer shack, picnic tables, benches, ADA compliant ramp for our hay wagon, and wheel chair accessible raised garden beds.

What happens at a Zachariah’s Acres event?
Our free events provide a variety of interactive, nature-based activities for the whole family! Guests are invited to walk through scenic trails, dig in our garden beds, fly kites, release pheasants, catch fish, ride in the hay wagon, pick pumpkins or participate in guided crafts and activities. Each event at Zachariah’s Acres is unique and activities are thoughtfully adapted for children with special needs of all abilities.
