Family Events

We’re intentional about nature-based experiences that allow our guests to shine and experience something that they don't get a chance to do elsewhere. Our events are designed specifically for children with special needs and provide priceless memories. Snowshoeing, gardening in the greenhouse, cooking classes, honoring caregivers, bonfire with s'mores, hay wagon rides, fishing, family worship nights, apple picking, and more.

Family Events are exclusively for children with special needs, and their families. While donations are appreciated, family events are provided at no charge thanks to the generosity of board members, businesses, foundations, churches, and individual donors!

"Our daughters Monica & Lizzi love coming to Zachariah's Acres.  They enjoy working with your wonderful staff on all of the crafts, fishing on the pier and taking wagon rides . Visiting this beautiful and welcoming  place always makes them smile . While in a recent hospital stay Lizzi would communicate that she wanted to go to Zachariah's Acres as soon as she was released.  Thank you for all the things you do for our children!"
